cpu cooler help

need a good cpu cooler these are what i'm looking into
1.Thermaltake VOLCANO 7+ A1254 heatsink and fan
2.Thermaltake VOLCANO 7 A1124 heatsink and fan
what the difference and do u know any better ones

I tryed the Volcano 7+ and had problems with it. could not use the speed controller because i had no spare power plugs. ....So i just pluged the main power feed into my M/B, that was the start ov my BIOS problems,...never figured what i was ment to do with the othe connector.
I know use a WINGLOB solid copper heat sink,.....dose me.
