According to ASUS's specs, this card's memory should be at 550MHz stock. But both RivaTuner and Coolbits show it at 513 MHz. When I try to OC the memory, it starts getting artifacts around 540-550 MHz. The core was at its correct stock speed - 250MHz (so far I have the core up to 310).

How come the memory is reporting so slow? Did I get a bad card? Thanks for any help.

Hmmm... indeed the memory speed should be 275 MHz for that card if you got the right one. Strange...

Maybe it doesn't get enough power... how much watt is your PSU?

My CPU fan spins so fast that it creates a wormhole

ah.. a guy over at AT's forums pointed out the typo.. if you click on the "features" button over on the left, it shows what the real specs for the card are..

V9280 TD
Engine Clock 250 MHz
Memory Clock (DDR) 512 MHz (256MHz DDR)
Memory Bandwidth 8.0 GB/sec.
Fill Rate(AA Samples/sec.) 4 Billion
Vertices per Second 113 Million
Operations per Second 1.03 Trillion
Effective Memory Clock Rate 512 MHz
RAMDACs 350 (MHz)

So I guess its supposed to be 512 MHz. I guess it was older 8 layer PCB, 4X AGP 4200's that have the 550MHz memory.
