Whenever i get spawned the far cry 3 would immediately crash if my GPU was overclocked.

Specs:
FX 8350
16 GB Corsair
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
AMD Radeon 7770 (from PowerColour)
G7 Power Extreme 880w
120 GB SSD Agility 3
150 GB Seagate Baracuda 7200RPM

powercolour are famouse for making crap cards with crap cooling...
do not oc there cards or they will fault and fail... you wont be able to get it replaced as there customer service is handled by 3rd parties who just ignore any request for an rma number to send the card back.

I have a similar problem in Windows7 64, helped a lot to run the game in Dx9 mode (can be selected in video options in the game). It still freezes very very occasionally but noting like before.
Dx9 not quite so pretty though, so hope Ubisoft fix soon !!

i must have got a good card then, HD6950 2GB dual fan (non-reference) can overclock it upwards of 950mhz on core from 800mhz with slight voltage increase. mainly used it for mining for a long period of time still running strong in games
