Hello, everyone! I recently installed GTA 4 on my laptop and I have a problem. My laptop is an MSI gaming laptop that I had not problem to run Starcraft II,Assassin's creed Brotherhood and other titles on extreme or ultra settings. The laptop has 2 graphics cards, one intel hd 4000 for low demands and a GeForce GTX 680M 4GB for high demands games. For some reason (first time encoundered on GTA 4) when running the game does not shift to the GTX 680 card so I can't play on high settings. Why that happens and what should I do?

My specs:
Windows 7 ultimate 64bit
intel i7 3610QM processor
16 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 680M 4GB + intel HD 4000

Thanks in advance!

Well, I don't have experience with Optimus but it seems like it doesn't wanna cooperate with GTA4. You should probably check the GTA forums.

I have read about optimus. I don't know what exactly it is. Is there any way to disable it?
