How to remove thrmal pad?

I have decided to go with the SLK 900U for a new heat sink from everyones suggestions. So now I would like some very detatiled instructions on how I should go about removing the thermal pad from my pentium 4 processor. I have never done this before so I want to know exactly what to do before I attempt removing it. Thanks.

Use rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to remove it... just rub it off but don't use an extereme amount of pressure.
