Removing AMD 2500+ stock HSF

Hey all, I am going to replace my stock HSF that came with my AMD 2500+(barton) with a Vantec Aeroflow. Can someone tell me how to remove the heatsink? I have 70% Isopropyl Alcohol, is that ok?
