Laptop vs Dayz

So I have an Acer aspire 5741G, looking to play smoe dayz. I know the computer isnt the strongest, but I reckon I should be able to play with everything on Vlow, without having to go to lowest resolution for the game to not completely stutter away.

Specs:
I3-330m 2.13ghz
mobility radeon hd 5470
4gb ddr3
some hdd, probably 7200rpm

Ive noticed Im doing lower fps than I think I should be doing in other games too. Any thoughts?

mobility radeon hd 5470 is not a real Radeon HD 5470.
- Even if it was I wouldn't suggest even installing it.
- Your HDD is probably 5400rpm as this is a low end Core i3 system we're talking about.

Arma 2 is a very unoptimised engine so hardware that weak will probably not run it.

You should get high FPS in anything unless it's 10 years old really.

Reckon an athlon 2 p320 2.1ghz + mobility radeon hd 5650 could do better?

Yes i think it could run it, my laptop with a 2.13ghz core 2 duo and a gt230m can run it.

Hmm might have to give it a shot. The acer does actually work decent as long as there are none of the orange trees in the screen, these drop the fps by alot!
