I wish to overclock my P4 2.4C CPU
I have a GA-8IK1100 Board with 2 512MB DDR400 runing in dual channel (not sure what type, but they have winboard chips on them)

What setting do you guys suggest i should use to get a stable overclock

I'm planning on getting the same chip, but with an ASUS P4P800 mainboard.
At people have manged to get 3 gigs easy with just the stock fan. However if you want stability i suggest geting a new heatsink such as the Thermalright SLK-900.

You may also need to look at your case fans, if you overclock you'll be genertating a lot heat and a system fan that sucks air out might be handy.

What about the ABIT boards? IC7? IS7? Arent those crazy overclockers?

Well I can go up to 250x4 with stock voltage... my memory needs to be changed though
