When you oc a computer and it hangs with benchmarks programs (pcmark, prime95 etc), and it fails, how can you tell if it's overheating or bcause of something else (ie voltages?). At what temp will a p4 2.4c stop operating? Thanks

Check the temperature and voltage rails. If the temp goes over 60C while benching then it could be heat. If your rails fluctuate out of spec then it may be a poor psu. If your having problems after an overclock, check temps, if they are ok add more voltage. If this doesnt help set the settings in bios for memory to 2.5 or 3-3-3-8 and turn off turbo mode/advanced cpu interface etc.
