I guess im after some peoples temperatures with watercooling an overclocked tbred/barton on high voltage (say 1.85-2.1 volts). Now that its cooled down a bit the ambient temp is normal in here, about 20C and i get 42C idle and 48 load with my 2100 @ 2.3ghz on 1.9 volts. I personally think this is very good for air. Even at 2 volts/ 2.36ghz it might get to 54c loaded. So what do you wet guys get?

Yeah that is pretty good for air... what kind of heatsink are you using?

I love my Delta 60HP 7000 RPM fan that puts out more dB then CFM

Well my watercooling is still beter... 37 C case and 39 C CPU at full load: XP1600+ at 1750 MHz. I think the room temp is about 30 C here now... stupid Summer heat.

I have always wondered if my temp were good, my 2.53 ghz P4 runs idle at 22 degrees celcius, and the system is at 29 degrees celius. I have 6 case fans, two in the side window, a 120 mm blohole i cut in up top, 2 exhaust fans in the back, and a single front fan.

If you havent smoked up at least one component of your system, you havent pushed hard enough!!!

that has to be a wrong reading...how can your processor be cooler than the ambient temperature...

So easy to fry yet tastes so good...

When I just turn on my comp in the morning, the CPU is about 4C cooler than the ambient temp, i think it's because i have my case open. With another 3 Tornados in my computer.

I hate Computers! I could only overclock my Barton 2500+ to 2645mhz. My Radeon 9700pro core/mem speed won't go above 410/720. I really hate computers!

Actually its not the wrong reading, the bios, plus 3 different utility's show this temp. I must have a very good cooling setup.

it is imposible on air cooling to have your average system temp warmer than your cpu temp...think about it...what if you cooled your refrigerator with 50 degree air....it would warm up to 50 degrees...

Well, the programs and the bios say that, thats just what it reads. I have one of the lowest air cooling temps I have seen, there is a lot of air moving in that case.

I agree with svol. Water is better for AMD XP2600. Ambient temp is 24C, case is 26C, CPU+GPU is 33C under load. Only noise is my PSU fan.

AMD2600+,AMD2000+,P4/1.8,P3/800,Via/800,P3/700 and a farm of Dells; OS/2, Linux(RH), W2K, NT4, Novell, UNIX. So little time, so many OS's

PIII-Man's right, it has to be a faulty readout somehow, unless your room temperature is cooler than this? Air-con? Do you live in the southern-hemisphere?

My room temp is very low, air conditioned basement, in Canada. LOL
