Abit KR7A-RAID & Athlon XP

Is it possible to put Athlon XP 2000+ Thoroughbred B on my mainboard and overclock it. How much. I have BIOS 9N and my highest multiplier is "over 13". Will it get higher if I put new BIOS. Are Thoroughbred-s rev. A unlocked like Bartons and rev. B. Thanks.

Yes it should work on that board, but you wont get any higher multipliers. And yes T-bredsB should be unlocked for a specific multiplier range: yours is unlocked for 12.5x and lower.

The only way to get higher ones is by setting them by placing small wires in the socket holes (easy and doesn't visualy void warrenty) or by remapping the multipliers by cutting the fifth L3 bridge with a sharp knife.

I love my Delta 60HP 7000 RPM fan that puts out more dB then CFM
