I have a Powercolor Evil commando2 9700 NP and want to o/c to pro speeds. But i am confused to which bios version to download for the card. Do i download 9700 pro bios data for it??

no you don't need Bios to OC, just go to rage3d.com to find some software then you are ready to oc

I guess i just have a crappy card =(
I can only achieve 290 core and it will crash if i touch the memory (270)!?! Am i doing something wrong? Or is it just a Poopoo card. I have the 3.3 ns memory =/

I though 9700 non-pros requires to flash bios.

I hate Computers! I could only overclock my Barton 2500+ to 2580mhz(vcore 1.65). My Radeon 9700pro core/mem speed won't go above 410/720. I really hate computers!

You should be able to hit at LEAST 340mhz core and 315 mem. My friend got his Sapphire 9500pro all the way up to 370mhz core clock and 310mhz mem.

yeah even my 9500NP does 381 / 313. Seems like maybe the bios needs replacing with an o/c'able one.

Wow. Those omega drivers are great! I just turned 15,233 3dmarks =D set my card @ pro speeds, Thanks for the help guys!
