SIMPLE QUESTION. Does the "wire trick" of connecting the two pins (like in the unlocking Barton Article) also work on the older Palomino and T-Bred cores? Has anyone had any luck with this? I want to unlock the multiplier, but don't want to mess with conductive paint/grease and the L1 bridges. Thanks.
Sooo, you're sayin' the Palomino (i double-checked my core) won't unlock the multipliers that easily. Does anybody know if Arctic Silver would work to close the bridges after a little super glue in the craters? Or is conductive ink or a Rear Window Defroster kit the only way? I'd really rather not go buy some junk I'll never use again, but with the AS 2 on hand, it would be simple as pie. Thanks again.
Ah Ha! I should have Googled first, asked questions later. Apparently the Arctic Silver will do fine according to several articles. I'll try it tonight and see. Please post if AC2 has or has not worked for your Palomino.
