About two months ago I discovered the joys of OCing my 1.8 to a 2.4 with stock cooling. That raised my 3DMark01 from 7000ish to 9000ish. Today I discovered how to OC my MSI Ti4400, having never really considered it let alone known where to do it. I did a search on yahoo for "OC the ti4400" and saw an offhand comment of someone OC their siluro to 290/600 so I chose 290/602 for mine. That is an improvement on 275/550. It seemed to work so I turned on the ol 3D mark and ended up with 12000! That is a 3000 (probably closer to 2500) point increase and that was on an arbitrary OC! Anywho my question I guess is how much farther can I push her and how do I know when it is too much? It seems OCing the VC is just as lucrative as the cpu, if not more, yet rarely heard about (atleast not by me :p). Anywho any input would be great because despite me sucess I am not cocky enough to admit I really know what I am doing.

Just slowly continue raising the GPU (and once you hid the limt of that the memory) untill you get artifacts and screen corruption during 3DMark2001SE. If you get artifacts back off by about 5 MHz.

I love my Delta 60HP 7000 RPM fan that puts out more dB then CFM

You should be able to hit 315/670 without doing voltage mod, however you'll need some sort of high airflow copper based cooler, and some ramsinks. I say this because that's how high i got my old TI4200 up to.

I hate Computers! I could only overclock my Barton 2500+ to 2580mhz(vcore 1.65). My Radeon 9700pro core/mem speed won't go above 410/720. I really hate computers!

Are you saying I need the cooler to reach 315/670 or I would need the cooler if I did voltage modifications? Sorry it was a little unclear to me. I dont want to but er at 315/670 and find you meant I needed good cooling to do that :)

You don't need to voltage mod to get that high, all you need is the Thermaltake, or Vantec Copper cooler for the GPU, with some ramsinks.

link to thermaltake Geforce cooler is: http://www.thermaltake.com/products/chipset/g4.htm
for Vantec copper cooler is: http://vantecusa.com/ccba4p.html
I would personally recommend the Vantec version, first of all it's cheaper, and the fins are better designed. Finally it has 2 blue lights. Advantage of Thermaltake is higher airflow.
