Just got my T-bred 1800+ last night. Currently I am running 220x8.0 and I love it. My memory is crap, so Tomorrow I will be getting back my old Corsair stuff that would o/c extremely well and I will probably try and run it in sync.

Just gotta love these T-breds.

220x8.0 = 1760MHz. THats not a very good overclock even for a Palamino. Now u say u got a t-bred; try to increase the Multiplier. I bet u cud do with 220x10 and if u r lucky, u cud even go upto 220x10.5. Keep us posted.

I am running my t-bred B DUT3C 1700+ at 12*166, as i am running DDR333 memory. The max clock i have reached is 2170MHz but at 1.95V Vcore.

I got into windows okay at 10x220@1.85V but I decided that it was to warm for my usage so I backed off to 9x220 now. I haven't got the greatest case cooling yet, so I need to keep it down right now. My CPU idles @ 41C and Full
load at 45C.

It takes 2 70cfm fans, an open case and a 12 inch fan to cool my 2376mhz/1.85 volt 1700 tbred to 56C load :p.

Your pretty close to stock speed for a 1800 and ur at 45C load :/. Better get the case open and stick a big fan in there :). At stock speeds my 1700 idles at 34C and 37C load. It goes up 4C every .075 volts. At 1.85 volts you should go to 2.2ghz easily as i reach that at just 1.75v. It really helps having the case side off and a fan cooling the whole board/gfx and cpu.

Just keep it under 60C and dont go over 1.9v and you will be fine.

Why dont u try reducing the FSB little and increase the multiplier? The multipliers are unlocked till 12.5. Reducing the FSB will reduce the strain on the memory and the chipset.

My 1700+ at 2000MHz/1.675V Vcore and with the HSF running at 2400rpm (tnx to the ASUS Q-Fan) idles at 34C and at full load reaches 41C. But when i overclock it to 2140MHz/1.92V Vcore, the CPU idles at 45C and full load hits more than 55C, upto 58C sometimes.

BTW mask, now at 349/327 no artifacts :D Got it upto 364/327 though, highest its ever been but loads of grey artifacts? Went down to 353 and only the od spec here and there so its staying at 349 atm.

Sorry to go off topic :p

Naa, i was gonna get one if i couldnt overclock my 9700 to what its at now. As for whats next, im gonna stick my spare 80mm fan on there instead of the crappy one that came with the heatsink. Should do 354 maybe 360 if im lucky then ;)

Stuck the fan on, it got worse lol so I stuck it on the back instead and it does 352 gpu now but its sitting at 349/327 until I get a new card. Got a brand new high score in 3d03 too (below).

5242 is a very good score for a 9700 Pro. What was ur earlier best score? i tried the link from ur previous post but it says its invalid. I think u dont have that project active anymore.

Awww thats cute. I think my calculator could get a better score than that LOL. If gw doesnt want my card when i upgrade, its yours m8. No one should have to put up with a gf4 mx! My old score was just above 5200. About 5212 or something.

You said the max you had it running at was 10x220. Extra 20mhz in 3dmark01 will add 250+- points and about 10 points in 03. Your cpu is only clocked at 2.2ghz, mines at 2376, that alone will make up for the FSB as ive tried similar settings. Whats your 9500np running at and what scores did you get ?

Hey mask. Bumbed her upto 206mhz FSB now. New all time 3dmark 01 score :p 16778 well pleased... Even lowered the clocks on the radeon a bit too. Still way fast.

Well, GW did not want ur card for a reason. And that reason was u shud keep ur card even when u upgrade just in case  . Tnx a ton for ur generous offer. Now i want to get a damn good card all the more

For same CPU clock speeds, even i noticed i got better scores in 3D MArk2001 when i had the FSB higher. So 206 is the max u cud hit?

I had to up the voltage as over 200mhz before i would get crashes in counterstrike (even though the other tests ran fine). Now at 2.8V instead of 2.66 @ 206mhz and cl2. You think I can take it higher? Its only rated for cl2.5 @ 200mhz (twinmos). I know the board will do 230mhz +- though but in the tests I looked at my memory kinda maxed out at what im at now with cl2.
