I've been playing around with my FSB lately, I lowered my multiplier to 10* so I could see what's my FSB limit, now I got myself a new record, 11.5* 230FSB so that's 2645mhz. I'm surprised my Kingston HyperX is actually holding out this high, I changed the Vdimm to 2.8. Vcore is at 1.75 but Asus automatically overvoltage it to 1.79 for some reason. Svol have you tried your FSB this high yet? I'm just wandering if this is a safe thing to do, my mobo temp's around 30-36. I got a Crystal Orb on my North Bridge.

I hate Computers! I could only overclock my Barton 2500+ to 2580mhz(vcore 1.65). My Radeon 9700pro core/mem speed won't go above 410/720. I really hate computers!

I'm rebuilding and cleaning m,y watercooling and PC atm... will be finished in a few days. But I don't think my KT333 chipset is going to like those FSB speeds... but if I'm lucky/unlucky (dunno which one yet) my repaired KG7-RAID mobo still doesn't work and I have to buy a new one so I can put my current one in my second system. The new one will ofcourse be an Epox 8RDA3+ (the overclockers wet dream mobo  ).

But I must say I'm impressed how far your CPU can be OC'ed... you should really try hitting its max, try lending your dads watercooling. But I've already seen Athlons go up to 239 MHz FSB. But with these kinds of FSB your mobo and memory are the limiting factor and not often your CPU. Even the old Palomino can handle 166MHz FSB and higher.

But feel your northbridge heatsink... if it is too hot to touch you're going a bit to fast (mobo temps isn't the northbridge temp but actualy the case temp near the onboard sensor).

I love my Delta 60HP 7000 RPM fan that puts out more dB then CFM

I don't think my PC2700 Kingston HyperX can go beyone 231, at 232 even with 6.5* multi computer crashed.

u r lucky that u got ur PC2700 to 230 FSB. 333 to 432. Thats about 130% overclocking the memory.

still thinking of a good sig. till then...

With HyperX PC3500 you may be able to max out A7N8X @233MHz since your mobo and CPU is capable at this insane FSB. An Athlon XP clocked at 2.6GHz, a 4000+??? What score did you get from Sandra and 3DMark03?

If I agree with you... will you shut up?

TKH i haven't done 3dmark03 in a while, I just brought my 9700pro to the store for a trade-up to 9800pro 128mb, they offered me 100 canadian extra for tradeup to a new 9800pro so I just have to wait for like 2 days to get my new 9800pro. I'm planning to overclock that to 480/750 core/mem, you guys think that card can handle that? and about my ram, I was REALLY surprised how high I had been able to overclock the ram to. I did increase the Vdimm to 2.8.

My ram's heatspreader gets pretty damn hot after doing SiSsoft Sandra 2003 memory benchmark. I'm happy that my Crystal Orb on my north bridge is still fairly warm, not hot. I'm guessing it's about 39C.

I sure am taxing my brains a lot these days. Funny enough no one else realised it. 230FSB translates to 462(DDR) thats about 139% overclocking the memory.

Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.
