A7N8X 1.X BIOS Version question?

The ASUS website tells that the latest A7N8X BIOS (1005) is for A7N8X 2.0 only.

Did anyone out there tried this BIOS version on 1.X version of this motherboard?

You dont want anything like <A HREF="http://forumz.tomshardware.com/hardware/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=667580#667580" target="_new">THIS</A> to happen to you. So i suggest u stick with the BIOS thats meant for ur revision.
