I'm planning on making a new system with a P4 2.8C and an 8KNXP (unless someone suggests an alternative). I'm looking at overclocking it as much as safely possible (I need this system to last at least the next year or two). I'm just wondering, what would be the best RAM to get, running in dual channel? I probably only need 512 MB, but if there's really a big advantage to having 1 GB, then I can go for that.
I'm kind of new to Intel as a whole and this is going to be the first time I'm doing a major overclock. From what I've read, the 8KNXP is said to be a great overclocker, and it's got some great features as well.
Oh yeah, once again, if someone has a better alternative to the 8KNXP, please, feel free to suggest it. I would like most of the same kind of features with good compatibility and good stability.
