I just got my new system up. I want to try to overclock it. I am using a Abit IS7 motherbaord. 1GB Geil PC3200 memory in dual mode. I have a Pentium 4 2.8c processor. I have never done this before and don't want to mess things up. if you could give me some tips and tell me what to change in the bios. if you have this mainboard it would be great if you could be specific. thanks very much.
you can overclocked from your mobo bios settting,
one option is frequence setting ,you can change you FSB from there.but I think this CPU is hard to overclocked too high,be carefull
I was able to find some online guides and some other info that helped me out. so I now have it running at 3.22 and everthing seems stable so far. I was also able to up my mormory timings to 2.5-3-3-6 so now it is only .5 away from the the corsair xms and for the price difference I can live with that.
