linksys router, linux ids

Hi. I've got a linksys router (BEFSR41 V3) and I want to set up an old
linux box as a network IDS attached to it. Is there any way I can
configure the router so that all traffic is broadcast onto one of the
switch ports? I think attaching a hub before the router would work,
but I'd rather do this without buying one if possible.
Thanks.

Hi
you may ask directly to LinkSys if the router can
be configured for this. Usually called "SPAN port", means
that this port will receive every packet like a hub for monitoring.

You may also get a hub in the router and plug the other comps
on this hub.

Have a nice day
