Hi,
I got a bad motherboard and I`m trying to replace it.
My old one is a Matsonic MS708 Socket 370 and I`m thinking about buying another Matsonic, but the model is MS7112C socket 370.
Do I have to reinstall the Windows, so it can recognize the new board? Are there any other motherboards that I can buy without this need of "reinstalling" the Windows?

Thanks,
Giuliano

what version of windows are you using? can i see more system specs so i can recomend you a board?

3 386DX-25's...12 volts...glue and some ln2 and a wicked amount of overclocking and you get a willamantee minus 36 pins, 33.75 million transistors and a couple hundred mhz...

thats exactly what i wanted to know...a celeron...what speed...certain celerons would not work in standard socket 370 boards...they had a diffrent pin arangement...also windows xp...you will need to reinstall if you get a diffrent model board...but none of your data will be lost...you just need to install again
