The corsair is way cheaper than the HyperX just wandering is there a major overclockability difference between these 2?

I hate Computers! I could only overclock my Barton 2500+ to 2645mhz. My Sapphire 9800pro core/mem speed won't go above 475/750. I really hate computers!

well i think the hyper x would go further same timmings but rated for higher speed

3 386DX-25's...12 volts...glue some ln2 and a wicked amount of overclocking and you get a willamantee minus 36 pins, 33.75 million transistors and a couple hundred mhz...

The Corsair is the CMX version is this version worse than XMS?

cmx? I have never heard of that...all i know is this is the order from worst to best

Value select
C2
twin x
ultra low latency twin x
LL or LLPT (same chips but diffrent color heat spreader)

thanks p3 man this is the exact code "CORSAIR CMX256A-3200C2 DDR 256MB PC3200 CAS2 32MBX8 184DIMM W/ HEAT SPREADER
"

I'm guessing the HyperX is better at overclocking right?

actually I don't mind relaxing the timing a little bit, I don't care about a little higher latency.

that serial number is for a pc3200 low latency module...i would still say the kingston module will take you further for reasons stated above...didn't you overclock your hyper x pc2700 to over 200mhz? Or was that someone else?

But shouldn't Hyperx 3500 go higher than HyperX 2700?

sure i was just wondering...pc 3500 should go pretty high with voltage and possibly some tweaking of timmings...

If you were to compare pc3200 corsair LL vs the pc3200 xms... i would say go for corsair as their memory always overclocks well...but when comparing pc3200 to pc3500 i just gotta say that the 3500 wins no matter who makes it

Also i beleive both kingston and corsair use the same winbound chips...corsair recomends that you use the C2 stuff if you are running it on a pat enabled mobo...
