HI, i played crysis 2 for 2 days but now when i want to start it, a window come and written ''this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect.Reinstalling the application may fix this problem''.
another problem is that i played Fear 3 before without any lagging.But now when i play for some time, the game become stopped and unplayable.
Are these happening for viruses or for what? AND If for viruses then what i will do.

Have you tried reinstalling crysis 2? if you downlaoded the game through steam, you can validate the files by right clicking the game.

Do the same with fear 3, update all drivers, downlaod latest patchs for the games, run a virus scan if it makes you feel better but it doesnt sound like a virus to me.

i reinstalled crysis 2 and fear 3 by dvd and installed latest video drivers.and i have already played them in the same pc before but now they are not running. why???
