Would a volcano11 for a AMD +3200 (non-overclocked) be a good idea or is it just overkill?

Well yes, pretty much overkill... but overkill can be good sometimes.

What you can do is get a bigass heatsink like that and run the fan very slow and quietly.
End result? Good cooling and quiet running.

Both Volcano 7+ and 11+ are rated for 3400+ (and 7+ actually beat 11+, even on medium speed). There is no such thing called overkill when come to cooling, the cooler the merrier.

If I agree with you... will you shut up?

Volcano 11 is really bad cooler, the fins are horribly attached to the base. Just use the stock, if you want better cooler, get Vantec Aeroflow, or if you're rich the Swiftech MCX462+, or SLK800U.

I hate Computers! My Sapphire 9800pro core/mem speed won't go above 490/790. I really hate computers!

Volcano 11 okay for lower cores, for a 3200 use a better one, slk800/900 Alpha or MCX462 with a good fan...

Trust me I know what I'm doing... ooops, grab the cat...
