MBM5 and Hardware Doctor giving me problems

This all started with me wanting to accurately figure out my temps. So I installed ABITs Hardware Doctor and MBM5.

The thing is when I start HD on its own its fine. If I start MBM5 it says that the CPU is at 95C - which is impossible since BIOS gives me 53-55 idle and HD gives me 45-47 idle. So I start HD to verify then all of a sudden it also tells me its at 95C. WTF is that about?!

Which prog should I be using to get a reliable number? What are good temps for a 2.4C at 3.2 and 1.7VCore?

Also after 20 nmin of Prime95 BIOS reads 61-62 and HD reads 67-70. WTF?!

I´d use MBM5, IMO its more accurate than HD. You have to set the probes up correctly, they might not be set right after installing MBM5. Your BIOS will always be most accurate, so check BIOS and set the probes in MBM.

Do you run Hardware Doctor and MBM5 together? If you do you must never run them together. Running two hardware monitoring software at the same time will mess up the reading. But if you shutdown one then run another and have problem then it's bizzare (scratch head)

If I agree with you... will you shut up?

Hmm well it seems that maybe some of the diodes are off - but why would that affect HD's reading?

As for TKH's idea - even if i run MBM alone it gives me wrong readings. If i run MBM, shut it down, then start HD, then HD is affected as well. WTF ?!?! But if BIOS is most accurate are these numbers safe?

Well I messed with it a bit so it gives similar numbers now to Hardware monitor but what about the numbers? Does that sound even close? Or a little high or what?
