M300 Blues ..

Hi,

I have an Armada M300. When I power it on, (using the Power on Button
on the side of the system), all four LEDs (the Hard Drive, the
NumLock, ScrollLock and the CapsLock) come on, and they STAY on.
After that, nothing. During all this, there is nothing on the
display.

I've tried everything. What the heck could be wrong?

(I'm not using the dock station just yet .. I'll probably need to
check that out seperately).

(Occasionally, the system DOES power on, which means that the LEDs
come on, then only the Hard Drive LED stays on), and then the display
goes to show the Compaq logo. After that .. nothing, which I guess
means that my hard drive is kaput .. I can fix that, but this
intermittent problem really bugs me).

Can you guys help me diagnose what could be wrong, and how I could fix
it?
