THe Diaomond Max 9 Plus - is that a S-ATA or a P-ATA disk?
And how much cache does it have - 2MB or 8MB?

One way to check is monitor your 12v and 5v lines at stock speeds with a standard gfx card and check them as you overclock. If they get to a point where they fluctuate by 0.1-0.2 or go down from say 12.1-11.7 or if the cpu voltage fluctuates by more than 0.03 volts then it may be struggling.

One example is my 550w psu. At stock speeds/voltage on cpu and memory, I get 12.01 on 12v line and 5.05 on 5v line and cpu is always within .03 volts of what I set the voltage to (1.63-1.65). Overclocked I get 11.98 on 12v and 5.03 on 5V and the cpu is still within .03v. A sign of a stable, happy system.....

It's not S-ata, and it's the 8mb version.

My vcore is set at 1.6 right now, and according to mbm5, it varies between 1.59-1.61, the rest are
+3.3 3.41-3.47
+5.00 5.11-5.16
+12.00 12.16-12.28

Is this stable? Thank you for the help.

Yeah it is. Just as expected for a 450w psu.

Tnx mate. I was wondering what ur system config was and i had actually asked u about that in some other thread. Unfortunately, my post was not made at all, tnx to my troubling modem. Hence the first statement of my previous post.

Nope. Today's our Independence Day! 56th Independence Day as a matter of fact. So the courier company was closed. So i got to enquire tomorrow. Lets see if they accept International to-pay couriers.

I read here that you should put a CD in your fastest CD/burner and lister for any fans that slow down as the CD spins up to its max speed. I havn't tried it myself so can't say it works or not.

I had a much better usertitle but was caught trying to hack me a better one so I got my current title as a punishment

Got the SLK900U with 92mm Tornado and let me count casefans, 1,2,3,...,10,11, and a couple more in the power supply, my case is also opened with a huge 16inch fan blowing air straight into the case.
