USB win95b on Presario

Has anyone gotten USB to work reliably for say external hard drive
support on a Presario vintage 16xx? Any info much appreciated.

Iffy at best. 95b had only the barest of USB support. Best bet would be an
upgrade to 98 or better still 98SE.
