I recently bought one of these motherboards along with a p4 3.0C and when i try to activate the PAT function 'performance mode>ultra turbo' in the bios, i get a memory problem saying that the timings are wrong. i also have 2x512 kingston pc3200 DDR ram.. is there a clear reason for this that im obviously oblivious to? help is greatly appreciated, thanks

PAT sucks in practise!

Use relaxed Memory timings. Something like 3-3-3-8. PAT stresses the RAM a lot.

3-4-4-8 wud be too relaxed. I know. But that wud be the most stable memory setting while running PAT, dont u think?

I have the same problem. I can set performance mode to fast, but when I try turbo, or ultra turbo the comp wont boot. My memory is 2x512 twinmos pc3200 and timings are 2.5-3-3-6.

I got a P4P800 deluxe board, using hyperX 3500.To get it to run Pat,(Turbo)i had to set timings to 3448 instead of 2337.I would suggest everyone tries that.I would set timings in post then go directly to mem. test 86 and made sure it past there before going into windows. That way i did not have to reset cmos all the time.Try it cant hurt and hope it helps.

Same board, but i can only set it to fast.. and with the other setting right after private.
It boots runs a few 3dmarks and eventually freezes down the line.
