Why it go into safe mode?

When i get my XP 3000 above 2.25Ghz the comp goes into safe mode. Why is it doin this and how do i stop it? Do i av to change the voltages at all, if so to wot?

When your computer goes into safe mode after an overclock, it means the cpu failed to load a driver properly due to it being low on power. Its the same thing when you test it with prime95, if it hasnt got enough power, it causes errors. Upping the voltage by .05 volts should help, if your cooling can handle it.
