P4 2.4C Abit IS7 HyperX PC 3500 How the heck Do I OC this? In Bios SoftMenu Setup Then Cpu Operating Speed. Now where do I go to OC it?

hehe, you have to do certain things like disable CPU speed hold error and set CPU speed to manual I believe.

It is simply done in BIOS. The PC 3500 does not acutally run at that speed unless you overclock it. It is simply guaranteed to run stably at that speed. Since P4's can only be overclocked by increasing fsb, you must increase the fsb in BIOS.

PC3500 will run stable at 216(.5) FSB but will probably also go a bit higher.

I had a much better usertitle but was caught trying to hack me a better one so I got my current title as a punishment
