I am considering getting camera phones for
a family share plan with 4 phones. Since I
want to be able to share photos among the
4 phones, my question is whether the phones
need to have the same camera specs or not.
That is, if one has a higher pixle count than
another, can they still exchang photos without
undue difficulty? I ask because I may want
to mix different phones because of the pricing.

I send and receive photos between different phones all the time.
The picture sizes might vary slightly, but they still look good.

The number of pixels doesn't affect whether you can see the photo or not.
If you take it on a phone at a higher resolution that another phone doesn't
have, you'll still be able to see that photo on the 2nd phone. It just
won't look as good as on the original one.
