I got a Toshiba Canvio 1.5 tab portable hdd, and wanna make it so I can put all mymovies, music on it and use with my Xbox, but the Xbox doesn't recognize it.... what do I do to get it to show up

I'm not sure if it's possible to use a USB or external HD with both the Xbox and PC. You need to format it when connected to the Xbox, but then when you connect it to your PC again, it will need to be a different filesystem so you'll need to format it again on the PC (which would erase all data on it) to use it, so there's not much point.
