take a look at these guys I use a small app called router log ( works with sw fw's too) and their client and attacks are automatically reported to the offender's ISP

It may be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others

well they are right, its not their responsibility to protect your email or your pc is it? is it the postmans fault that you get junk mail through your letter box? and who is responsible for the security of your house? someone else?

If they squeeze olives to get olive oil, how do they get baby oil?

yea but you would think they would at least foward the info to the offenders isp etc.. get the ball rolling for the other isp . you think thier would be at lest some consern the are a big isp they can get stuff taken care of real fast when they wanna... you think they would least look into it. I am not saying there responsible for my secuity. I would expect they would want to act on attack on one of thier users. Or least be helpfull ging me the isp of the attacer or something. I should have had to go through uu.net . Buy the way my msn access goes through tnt1.(Ect..)uu.net. So msn must have some affiliation... oh well what done is done

 The Hardware Junkie

if they took the time to investigate every little hacker kiddy that tried to use a port scanner they would be in the security buisness, not the isp buisness.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal
