i reckon the US is pretty close to this kind of control over the media, and people in the US.

with the patriot act the US could basicly have as much control over the people of the United states as china has over its people.


i'm not talking about the sars part, but the fact that people's text messages e-mails etc... were being tracked and screened.

for example the US has criticised Mike Moore calling him un-patriotic.
whats this world coming too.
