Hi,

I have an old Compaq Armada 1700 on which I'd like to replace the
3 GB hard drive (IBM DKLA-23240).

Unfortunately, all I can find in that capacity are (understandably)
used drives.

Is there any compatibility problem in using new, high-capacity drives?
I don't care about not being able to use the full capacity -- I just
want to
buy a brand new drive for a decent price.

Thanks.
