Does XP3000+ go further?

So far i can get my 3000 to 2.34Ghz (2.16Ghz default speed). When i turn the multiplier up the monitor turns off and the comp wont start. Any ideas, this is my setup:

Asus A7N8X deluxe mobo
XP 3000+ (166*14) (1.75 Vcore )
1 GB 333 DDR RAM (7 3 3 2.5)

Have you run prime95 at 2.34ghz?

i thought that the FSB is the one that can only be adjusted.

i av water cooling, so i can crank it up a bit more.
when i turn the multiplier up the pc doesnt boot.

Well in your other post, your temps are getting a little high, I personally would like it under 50C but with AMD that is hard. Try to keep it under 60C, use 1.8 vcore, Asus probably overvoltages it to about 1.9 occasionally jump to 2.1 you probably can't get multiplier any higher since your mobo doesn't unlock it all, just try higher FSB. Try to get 200FSB.

never mind, you have crap ram. Oh well, overclocking the FSB gives you much more performance than overclocking the multiplier.
