Hi,
I just got my Gigabyte 8KNXP and was trying some preliminary overclocking and managed to get 1.6cpu voltage/.2 over dimm/and 265MHZ CPU = 3.18GHz, but when I turned the CPU Clock to 275. The computer wouldn't reboot to bios. Just sort of died. I didn't mess with the timings. Any advice would be welcome.

Setup:
Gigabyte 8KNXP
P4 2.4C
Kingston HyperX 3500 x 2 (256mb)
10k drive and a 7200 drive
5900 Gainward, etc...

Thanks,
Kris

How do I set 5:4 memory ratio? What do my timings get set to in memory?

I set the CPU frequency to 275, DIMM over +2, CPU voltage to 1.6v. When I try to restart with new settings. It just sits there with a long beep doing nothing. I didn't touch the timings or anything.

NM, i lost you, 5:4 is not the timing that the ratio of FSB:Memory Frequency, so when ur FSB is at 250mhz your memory is only at 200mhz. This way you eliminate the overclock-limiter(crappy memory).
