hello all i was told to come here for help since i was in a bit of a conundrum

i have 700$ and am hoping to build as i said in the title a Gaming Desktop but sadly i have close to no experience in building or choosing parts,what i mean to ask is what would be a decent pc build for no more then 700$

Pretty sure GTX660 requires minimum of 450W power supply, and I would recomend going 500-600w. Rest of the parts seems good for the kind of system you are building.

No, it doesn't. My friend runs almost identical system on that CX 430 for 4 months now without any problems.

Well minimum recommended by manufacturer is 450W. The card by itself will probably need less then 350W when on max.

lol. It won't consume more than 140 w. The whole system won't peak above 260 watts.

the card will use less than half of that. the 670 is about 180W the 680 is below 225.

I guess I confused the total system power use by video card. Ur right, my bad
