With the v710 now under $100 and the vcast phones under $150 does this mean
that new phones will be coming out soon? I mean usually when the top of the
line phones come down in price a new one is introduced that has more
features. I want a phone with bluetooth, vcast, camera, and push to talk. Are
there any phones with these features coming out soon (i mean all those
features on one phone).
thanks

New phones trickle out just about every 1-3 months, at least. The
real problem is the frequency of *decent* phones that come out. It's
been three years for me, and I'm still waiting.....

Of course, beauty (or in this case, useability) is in the eye of the
beholder.

I have noticed something interesting now that innetwork has been around
for a while. That is a number of people I know with nextel radios saw me
having full duplex conversations without the clock running and
decided their walkie talkie wasn't so neat after all. The latest was my
friend who now has 5 vzw phones for his business instead of the nextel
radios.

Verizon delays on purpose in introducing new phones to the market. That's
why they have such a limited selection. Also, Verizon's the first to take an
old phone away...while it's compeitor's keep them around for a much longer
time, giving the customer's a chance to get a good phone at a decent price.
Don't look for that with this company.
