Black Ops 2 Crash: Resolution issue

Hey, I've recently purchased a new 32" Monitor that does not support my previous monitors resolution. When I open Black Ops 2, I go into options, put it on my new Resolution and click Apply. All was going good, then I clicked "Online" and my game just froze. Now, anytime I go into Black Ops 2, after about 5 seconds it will stop responding. Also, when I open the game, it takes a lot more time then usual to open it. I've tried verifying the cache to no avail. I had no issues at all before my new Monitor.

How can I fix this?

1 try reinstaling the game

2 update your GPU drivers
