Hi guys...

I've currently got an Epox 8RDA+, with an XP1700+ tbred b CPU & Corsair Twinx PC3200LL...

I've got it at 196x11.5 at the mo, but I get crashes if I raise the FSB any more.

What do you guys reckon is the problem? I've read some stuff suggesting the Earlier revision 8RDA+ mobos tend to have an overheating southbridge, so I think this might be the cause, but any other suggestions?

While we're on the subject, can anyone recommend a good little HSF for my northbridge, preferably one that will use the two little mounting holes that are already there. I will probably then use the existing passive NB cooler on the soutbridge (using some ASIII Epoxy or similar). Does this sound like a good idea?

The end is nigh.. (For this post at least)

What revision is your board?

I am sure you have haerd that the stock NB cooler perfectly fits the southbridge?

As for heatsinks...just measure to find something that fits...i beleive the distance between the 2 holes is 42mm but check it out and look at some specs of heatsinks that match that size...

Any active copper heatsink will do the trick
