In all of my games (Exept Morrowind) I get 60fps. In Oblivion I thought I would get much more because that game is 6 years old and all. Could it be my RAM speed? (Vsynce is disabled in every game)

Specs:

AMD Radeon hd 7850 2gb OC
(Core Clock: 1050 mhz Memory Clock: 1450 mhz

ram speed effects loading not Frames Per Second usually.

I do not get good Frames Per Second in "The Witcher 1 Enhanced Edition" either.

I have a FX 4100 and a 7970.
Ram DDR3 2133mhz

Reasons is these old games are only single core optimized.
On top of that the AMD FX series are not very good at single core games. Much better at Multi-Core games.

I get Better FPS in The Witcher 2 enhanced edition than The Witcher 1.

Another thing to blame is they do not do "performance updates" for these older games with the newer gen of hardware graphic drivers. If there is issues with graphical anomalies they might fix it but no huge optimizations...

I dont know if exactly if your games are capped these are issues with older games.

You could also try allocating less cores or just one core to the game in the task manager. when the applications is open go to its process and right click it, then click set affinity, then selected like one core and see if that helps
