I know Cingular has a docking station that forwards your cell phone calls to
your land line when the phone is in the dock (while it's charging). Does
anyone know if Verizon has this, too?

Not entirely the same thing, but there is a device called CellSocket
<http://www.cellsocket.com> and another called "Dock-N-Talk" from
Phone Labs <http://www.phonelabs.com> which is a docking station for
you to use either as a replacement for your wired service or to use as
a second line.

I use *92. It forwards your cell phone to any number you program it to
only if you don't answer it. You can keep it on this setting all the
time. The usage is *92(area code)(phonenumber) and send. Only area
code and number. No number 1 in front. You disable it by *920 and
send. I started using this at home because I lived in an area with no
coverage. I was able to get my cell phone calls on my landline. Take
care.

There is a product called "phone merge" that can be used on any
compatible phone listed at the link below and it does not cost a
monthly fee like I think the Cingular's docking station does! It is at:

http://www.cell-phone-accessories. [...] phone.html

It does not matter if your phone is with Verizon or Cingular or any
other company - As long as you have a phone in their list of cell
phones, you are covered.

That's the same as the CellSocket or Dock-N-Talk, but with only one
model supported I'm not sure why anyone would use "phone merge" since
it only accommodates Motorola models.
