i recently purchased a Vantec Aeroflow and AMD 2500 Barton CPU with a MSI k7n2 delta motherboard, will the vantec fan be good enough to keep my CPU below 55C when i play a game (ex diablo2 lod, w3 TFT, cs, etc) that requires alot of resource? and what is a safe max temp for this cpu? btw i will not be overclocking it. thank you

LOL, you're living in the past, the games you mentioned are extremely not demanding. Your CPU will probably sit idle when you play those games, you may even need a heater beside your computer to heat up your CPU so the transistors start working. (Don't take the last part seriously)

-Intel PIV 2.4C @ 3.84G -Asus P4P800 -OCZ Copper 2x256 4000EL memory @ 275mhz 3-4-4-8 -Sapphire 9800pro @ 490/780 -SB audigy -80G Maxtor Diamond Plus9 Ultra ATA-133 hdd -450 Enermax PSU

you'll be ok, but it's a joke to say that the cpu will be sitting idle...it'll still be working hard, getting him higher framerates. and wc3 TFT is a new game anyhow...he's not exactly living in the past

in any case, you should be fine with this cooler. monitor your temps while you're playing a game and see how they are - i'd set 60* as a maximum operating temperature. AMD probably says 70

this signature area is too dern short, no space to put your system specs

Well Warcraft3 is not a demanding game, Geforce2 MX400 can run it smoothly on 1200x1000.

umm... true those games dont require alot, but i'm a very cautious person, and i didnt want to destory a new computer, by over heating it.

You can't dammage them if you install everything properly without overclocking.
