How to record two gaming headsets on one PC?

Hi. Me and my friend have been looking to get started on YouTube gaming commentaries, and since we both have a pair of Turtle Beach X12's, we were wondering if and how it might be possible to record using these (both at once) on my pc, rather than having to spend 50-100 dollars on a decent recording mic on the possibility that we never get more than, say 100 views. If this is possible, please reply, if I'm in the wrong place, give me a push in the right direction, and if it's not possible, well, then, please let me know. Thanks for your time.
