Hello,
Are there any software out there for people with poor eyesight? To enlarge fonts or something similar?

In Windows, there are accessibility options for people who may be hearing/sight impaired. All you have to do is click on the Start button, Programs, Accessories and then Ease of Access. In there, you can choose several built in programs that Windows offers for different impairments.

The one you're looking for is the magnifier. It allows a window to pop up that has an enlarged view of whatever portion of the screen your mouse is at.

Hope this helps!

Yes, as others have said, Windows comes with built-in accessibility features. Here are a few things you can do with Windows 7:

You can make text appear larger. To do this click on the Start button > click Control Panel > under Appearance and Personalization, click Adjust screen resolution > and choose the percentage of text size you desire (ie - 125% or 150%)

You can also use the built-in magnifier to make items on the screen appear larger. To do this click the Start button > click All Programs > click Accessories > click Ease of Access > and then click Magnifier.

Of course a larger monitor is always a good thing as well :) Hope this helps!
