if I were you I'd go out and buy a SLK900A. Well between what you have, Falconrock 2 with SCF2 is probably the best choice.

-Intel PIV 2.4C @ 3.84G -Asus P4P800 -OCZ Copper 2x256 4000EL memory @ 275mhz 3-4-4-8 -Sapphire 9800pro @ 490/780 -SB audigy -80G Maxtor Diamond Plus9 Ultra ATA-133 hdd -450 Enermax PSU

k, thx

i won´t buy SLK900A unless i fail to run my 2500+ @ 3200+ with decent temps. u think that falco II HS and Smart Fan II can handle it ??

The FR2 is on par with the SLK800 (original) when both use the same fans. It's a very good heatsink especially if you use a more powerful fan. With the stock fan the FR2 is only adequate for stock speed CPUs and maybe some very moderate overclocking but it is extremely quiet. With a powerful fan it becomes real performer.

I suggest you just install the FR2 trying an assortment of 80mm fans. I think the stock one is 28cfm. Test it then try your other fan. Judge from there.

Maybe you'll want something more powerful, maybe less powerful.

I hear the Smartfan II is a good choice. It's adjustable and has good speed ranges.

Depends on how much overclocking you want to do but you won't need the fan at full speed to get a really good temps.

Full speed's not that loud, it's about what 45dBa? that's not bad.
