what are CLEAR MOIRE and FOCUS settings on my 955df monitor? they don't seem to change anything! what would be the best settings? and should I set lower refresh rate on my monitor to make last longer?

You only use the Clear Moire button when a moire pattern (circular patterns and arcs) appears on your screen.

When the focus on screen is not even all over, then you use the Focus button to adjust it.

My settins for Clear Moire 0, 0
Focus 56, 31

I don't think the refresh rate has anything to do with a monitor's longevity...unless you push it to the max and your monitor explodes on you.

arcs? what do you mean? when this happen? can you tell me more detailed? does it have to do something with a curvature? THX anyway

No, it has nothing to do with the curvation problem your haveing with your 955df.

Have you ever put a strong magnet on the screen of your monitor or tv?? The after effects are almost the same (but its not caused by magnets--just an example). You will see spiral ciruclar arcs. <A HREF="http://www.sandlotscience.com/Moire/moire_2.htm" target="_new">Here</A> is an example.
