boot record gone...

Hey all...

I have 2 partitions on my hd, fat32 and ntfs
One for win98 (some games)
and one for win2k pro.

Everything was going fine until I moronically decided to reformat my fat32 drive and win98.

Now, i can't choose which os to boot to as the boot record, or whatever you call it (some one enlighten me please), is gone and I'm stuck with win98 and all my important stuff on my ntfs part.

There must be an easy way to fix this.

THanks for your help

Have a nice day.

You should be able to boot Win2K with the emergency setup disks that came with it. If you don't have them, a search on the MS Knowledge base should have some for download. I actually use a 3rd party boot loader for a triple boot system. It works great for Win2k, 98SE, and Linux.

Sarcasm maybe the recourse of a weak mind,
But it can be funny as hell.
